Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Fitting pressfit bottom bracket into new Giant TCR frame

I am fitting in a press fit bottom bracket (Ultegra SM-BB72-41B) into a new Giant TCR frame for the first time. However, I am conflicted on whether I need to fit the BB in dry or with grease? I've done some research online and some sources say to fit dry while others recommend use of grease. Maybe a light coat of grease on the BB shell and the bottom bracket would be enough? Would the Polylube 1000 from park tools be good for this? What are your guys' take on this? I already did a search on the forum and surprisingly didn't find too many results. Is there anything else that I should worry about when fitting the bottom bracket in? Thanks in advance.

Those are composite cups so no lubrication should be necessary and it might even be counterproductive. Be sure to fully bottom them out.

And here’s what Shimano says: https://si.shimano.com/pdfs/dm/DM-FC0003-07-ENG.pdf
