question one: is this correct way to measure spoke ?

And, is this consistent with SpocalExpress.xls output?

Spoke length is measured from the inside of the elbow to the very end of the threads, most usually in millimeters.”

question two:

on my cheap town bike, i want to know the nipple length, without remove a spoke. how can i measure the length (dimension C), if dimension B is not visible?

Yes, I've always just hung a spoke off the end of a steel ruler. I must remember to get a metric ruler someday.

@MTB Addict - Get a nipple from your LBS that appears to be the same and measure. Not only do you not know B, you don't know C-B.
