Mounting rear bike light to backpack?
I'm trying to figure out a good way to do this.
Does anyone have any ingenious ideas?

The ingeniouses at many of the light manufacturers have already thought of this. Each of the rear lights I own has a clip that can be used for this purpose.

Clip, tab, combo tape/fabric strap. Hole punch, stout cord and some more tape, maybe knots. Pocket with zippered opening. A midget in a harness worn around your shoulders. Place the midget pointing in whichever direction you'd like light. Height adjustments of the midget system may be required depending on users light directional needs.
