Kenda/Versus Fantasy Cycling

If anyone's joined the Kenda Fantasy Cycling Challenge, add your team to the Bike Forums group so we can see who's best. For anyone who hasn't joined, it looks like you can join up until stage 5, when they start the actual scoring.

I joined the Performance fantasy league. Wish I was in the Kenda one. First day was pretty good. Got 1st,4th and 6th in the overall. Long way to go.

slightly off topic - Kenda to me recalls sturdy but utilitarian heavy tires from my childhood bikes - do they actually make decent bike tires?

Speaking as a mountain biker, I say most certainly, yes.

Back on topic, what's the point of Kenda asking you to enter a team name? In the standings I'm listed as Team [LAST NAME] instead of Team Magellan-Qdoba.

Too bad no prizes for the BF group on the Kenda fantasy challenge!
I think I've been in yellow for a week or so now!

Yes, but Kenda's top line tires are called Maxxis. Their cheap ones are actually not too bad either on a price comparison.

I would join the BF group but my team is in like 15,000th place and I quit playing when Valverde tanked.

Edit... sorry, Maxxis is made by Cheng-Shin, Kenda's top tires keep the Kenda label... https://www.kendausa.com/bicycle/bicycle.html

Well, I had a shot at 40th in the cumulative a few days back, but left the wrong rider on my bench.

I feel better though, now that I see my team is still ahead of the whole VS announcing crew except Hummer.
