Does that red 722 say Holiday Edition?

ouch, those are the wrong graphics on the Leader. It's particularly unflattering on the seat tube. No follow through on the accent color either.
Love the graphics and colors on the Macaframa- especially the headbadge and top tube graphics that really set off the red and antique white.
Great follow through on the accent color and tying the look together. Font size, everything is nice and balanced.
That really stands up as some nice graphic design work.

Painfully average.
I really don't know how you guys can be so critical about it. I think the 722ts looks awesome and frighteningly similar at the same time.. I personally don't understand how you can like one but not the other. I just can't agree with your statements about how the 722 has the "wrong" graphics, while the Raleigh has the "right" graphics.

The graphics are wrong for the Leader frame, imo. If they want to knock off (or be inspired by) the Macaframa, I think they should have used a different tubeset.
A lot of the details are a little off, certainly not horrible. Just in comparison to the Macaframa, I feel it's lacking.
Leader did a good job with the Kagero, a nice "inspired by" MashxCinelli. This one... maybe it will look different built up.

I dunno, I just don't see any difference really except a few minor changes here and there.. Maybe it's because I'm sleepy and going crazy from all this cramming.

Fresh Garbage
The one on the Leader doesn't work because the cutout makes the seat tube too narrow and awkward, unlike with the Raleigh. That makes the graphic seem like an after thought.

different strokes for different folks
Are they making the 722 with steeper angles and so giving it a cutout to add to the sportyness? I'm never going to buy one anyway, so I'm going to stop

Your cog is slipping.
I have a feeling the reason Leader lists smooth welds as a feature on the current line of 725/735 frames is that previous models did not have them, which isn't very difficult to wrap your head around.

Regarding the decals, bikes have been around a long time and there have been a lot of frames sporting a similar style. Raleigh didn't exactly pioneer anything by using block-style down tube graphics on the Macaframa frame.
Nope. It says Heritage Edition.

So perhaps that particular color scheme is a one off for red, and not all of the 722's will look like that?
Either way, I love the new frame. If I were shopping for a new steel frame, I'd buy one in a heartbeat. I also do wish I could find a 53cm 725... El Presidente is just sitting above my refrigerator, taunting me.

True. Masi immediately comes to mind. I think their choice to even use that red colorway, along with the placement of the seat tube logo that really made it look like its twin brother

The Macaframa is definitely a nod to the old school style of frame graphics. Masi is a great example to bring up, I had a Nekkid Ltd- raw/burgundy- loved it. Same style of graphic bands and lettering.
But while Macaframa seems to be doing their updated version of retro-SF style,
Leader is doing their version of Macaframa.
I've seen the Mac and really think they did a great job with that. The colors they picked and graphics are awesome. It all fits and comes together with the theme.
The Leader looks like a cool frame, but the graphics are not helping it at all. Reminds me of Leader's horrid road frame graphics.
