No, those pics just don't give any detail. For an American '10spd' aren't the usual suspects Ross, Schwinn and Trek? I mean the big guys making quality lugged bikes. Did any of them use chrome socks?

Looks to be a just OK lesser mid level bike from the early 70's with mostly cheaper none original components, nothing seems to match. As Presented dusty neglected likely none working needing a complete overhaul and some new components worth about $100 with half of that being for the nice crank set and pedals and seat.

Agreed, stamped dropouts and cable stops typically point towards an entry level, hi-tensile steel frame. However this one appears to have some decent components that are more mid-range. I suspect it was gradually updated over the years. I wouldn't rule out Asian origin. Better pictures and the serial number may yield more clues.

Agreed, stamped dropouts and cable stops typically point towards an entry level, hi-tensile steel frame. However this one appears to have some decent components that are more mid-range. I suspect it was gradually updated over the years. I wouldn't rule out Asian origin. Better pictures and the serial number may yield more clues.
