Well, it depends on what you already have.
I have Sram eTap 11 speed, so for me it's not worth it.

I don't have it but I've been wanting eTap for a long time and was waiting for it to move down to the more affordable Force group so that I could possibly upgrade. (I have SRAM Apex.) Then they changed everything up with the new smaller chainrings and the 10-tooth rear cog which requires a lot more components to be upgraded, including the XDR freehub, which I don't think they make for my wheelset. So it's probably a no-go for me.

You can buy a Campy Record 12 mechanical group for less than half the price of Red 12. Campy has used the same cassette body since 9 speed. Many hubs can be converted to a Campy cassette body.
Same goes for chorus 12. Half the price of force 12.

I've had 11 speed eTap for a while. I really like it a lot. For me it just works. I know some have had connectivity issues from the shifter to the derailleur, but I've never experienced any such issues. I've got 3 friends who run eTap and we all feel the same. We all put about 10-12k per year on the bikes. So to me, eTap is certainly worth it.
Now the 12 speed bit - can't help you on that. Never used it. I know I don't "need" that additional gear, but if I had it I may like it - who knows.

I've used it (Red eTap AXS) for a few months now and love it.... Worth it? It's expensive for sure, but at this point I'd do it again.

Many reports of dropped chains and excessive noise on the weight weenies forum. In contrast, the new Chorus 12 has the best shifting ever. No noise problems or dropped chains. I've got the new Chorus 12 on 2 bikes. Performance has been flawless.
Electronic shifting of multiple cogs is also slower. With the campy levers you can shift 3 cogs larger or 4 smaller, with one push on the finger lever or thumb button, a lot faster than e-tap.

I've had very few dropped chains, Sram eTap 22, all corrected by a slight adjustment of the limit screws. So I don't think 122 speed would be any worse.
