A suggestion to prevent 'Koffeeisms'
Mods, owner, those asleep at the wheel,
Can I make a suggestion? Whenever there is a thread that very clearly is heading down the road of illegality or questionable morals/ethics, that you just post a warning and then shut the thing down?
First we had 'The Aussie Thread' shut down due to mod bigotry, and now the Tommassini thread/s where it's clear to me the forum is allowing slander and goodness knows what other illegal acts to take place on it's turf.
So how about setting up some guidelines for this sort of thing and sticking to them?
For way too long, people have been able to get away with far too much, and there doesn't seem any solid protocol for dealing with it. Things are not improving on this front.
I know people will probably think many of the threads/comments are 'trivial', but I think if you create a website you have to be responsible for it and regardless of 'severity', not allow it to be a forum for illegal or unethical commentary.

Or, could you direct us to these threads?

There was a Science Fiction story with a society that had only two rules: 1; Do not annoy other people, and 2; Do not get annoyed too easily. Possible policy here? The only things that commonly annoy me are what might be covert plugs for products. I just figure the Mods are onto stuff like that and can deal with it. Besides they usually drop off the "View New Posts" quickly enough.
