Why are roadies going 1x11 or 1x12?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Congrats on upping the creepiness factor of this thread.

Besides you posted a picture of what obviously is a fit male model for some kind of vacation ad.
Aww that's kind of sweet, @indyfabz he's complimenting you!

LOLZ! Yeah. Two photos of the same guy riding the very same bikes I posted photos of. And again, I have been seen by another BF member riding one of them.

I have established provenance. You have established only one thing, and we all, know what that is. Moreover, cannot even remember that you DID call out Noodle and I. Something about only owning 90s MTBs.

You need to work on your troll. You're worse than Ben Simmons trying to hit a jumper during practice.

Will another bear photo suffice? Saw this fellow while riding the Surly I don't own (even though there is a photo of me on it and I have been seen by a BF member riding it) in Montana last month.

I wore out a nw chainring in ~3k miles with mix of racing and road riding. You can tell when they are going bad when the teeth begin to wear and unlike 2x chainrings were the fd holds the chain you start getting noise and drops. That's been my experience with two different 1x setups with 3 different brands on chainrings and the same for at least a dozen fellow racers. No one is replacing things preemptively but once issues begin to arise. Maybe strictly on the road with low torque the life might be longer

Ok, I'll play along, you can add these to your collection.

Here's my bike.

I had stopped for a photo anyway, so here's a selfie from that ride. I don't wear a helmet sometimes on gravel roads when I'm not going to be around cars with texting drivers.

Here's another one. It's easy to take lots of pictures of your bike … when you have a bike.

Here's one with some god beams.

Here's one with larches.

Snow!

I could do this all day, but it's your turn.

GO

Just buy whatever e-bike the bikeforums procliamed most popular man on the pro tour Peter Sagan gets paid to ride on rest days.

What he rides matters.

How do I know that this is you, or that other guy was noodle, or that other guy was indy? You guys could of saved these pics from a google search for all I know. That's why a hand written note or sign of noodle soup was required when you take that pic otherwise it's not real proof! And I think these photos are random ones you pulled off the net... because the guys in it looks a bit too fit and handsome...noh0mo. Anyways I really like the brown bear I mean bar tape on the nice cervelo. Oh and I doubt he would appreciate you using his picture in some random forum.

All three of those "guys" are actually long serving felony inmates at the Julia Tutwiler Prison for Women located in Wetumpka, AL who have now had their internet privileges revoked for posing as cyclists on Bike Forums. The fourth inmate who recently escaped from our institution is also posing as a BF member and likely using as a pseudonym popular cocktail names like Martini, Mint Julep or Mai-Tai.
If anyone knows the whereabouts of this mildly delusional and extremely boring individual contact Sheriff Boss Hog at the Julia Tutwiler Prison for Women.

That's Forrest; we met up last year when he gave me a Fizik saddle that he didn't want.
