Trek Commuter 8 recall
No sure this is the right place but Trek has issued a recall about the front fender falling off and causing a crash.

I looked at the non-electric Trek Commuter 8 in late 2014. Ironically, one of the reasons I didn't buy it was the "short" front fender. If I was buying a bike for commuting, and it came with fenders, I'd want the fenders to go all the way down to within a few mm of the pavement.
Also, as it turns out, my hands don't handle straight bars very well anymore, and in fact, I just converted my old straight-bar MTB-based winter bike to drops.
However, I did like the way the non-electric Commuter 8 rode, and it had an integrated hub-dynamo/generator with a front and rear light, which would have been nice.

Love the way they word this:
"If the wrong bolt that holds the front fender to the fork crown is installed during assembly...."
If you insist on the passive tense, at least write "was installed...."
