I've been using a take-a-look mirror for years now and would feel naked without it.

Tried the tilt yesterday and it does remove part of your shoulder from view. A couple more adjustments and I may have it dialed in.

Those things are toys, and dangerous if you bump into a branch or fall.
I have on both bikes a mirror like what's on small motorcycles. I can see great, when I can get them to stop flopping.

Simply the most important safety maneuver for all cyclists, whether you have a mirror or not or only ride mostly on dirt or MUPs. Practice it regularly until you and do it perfectly under any condition.

I have to adjust it usually when I take my helmet off. It has a velcro strap.
I don't use mirrors. Because, They are subject to, movement. Of either, the handlebars, or the helmet.

I appreciate other cyclists with ugly bikes use mirrors. I don't have to say anything when I come up from behind.
