The 7 speed Accushift front bar-con has microclicks only. I don't have a front 6 speed Accushift bar-con to refer to but I suspect it was smooth, like the gray 6 speed thumbies of the day.

I think there was a third version of the Accushift plus barcons which I've never seen.

Thanks for this extra info, because it wasn't making sense to me how the info could be correct, what happens if someone mounts backwards? Would be a debacle.

Guess I need to tear these down and see if I can see what's going on. But I'll never use them ... so will probably just sell cheap instead.

The shifter set had the same spring in both left and right shifters, but they were installed in each separate shifter in opposite directions. The ratcheting wheels were the same and the clamping washers were both the same. The only difference was the orientation of the spring in the levers (which was designed in the down tube set to be a universal lever) The bar cons worked the same way, they just attached differently via the bolt through. The biggest problem with finding parts for these systems is the washers and spacers for the hold down on the shift levers.
As for the straight bar levers they were a different animal and had a two position setting, as they were a second generation lever. They had friction and six speed indexing and were specific to Suntour freewheel spacing. I may have a set around but it will be either NOS or removal from a working system which would hurt my monetary feelings. Smiles, MH

ISO 26mm Campagnolo cassette lockring. Apparently they only made these from 1997-1998 or something. I just finished building a rear wheel, added the rim tape, installed a brand new tire, slipped on a brand new 9-speed cassette, and only then discovered that I didn't have the right size lockring.

If anyone can help me out, I'd be very appreciative. A local shop has a new one but they want $40. I'm hoping to avoid that, but I'd be happy to give a nice part in return in trade.

Thanks for the various replies. Wasn't aware plain old MKS caps were still available. I'll just grab a pair of them.

I *think* I have a Veloce 8s long cage which accomplishes the same thing with a bit less bling. Are you specifically looking for the one labeled Racing Triple? Started repainting my shop so I can't guarantee how long it will take to find the box it is in.

Yes, Racing T or a long cage not named Avanti or Mirage or Veloce…matching issue, ego issue.... something like that.

But thanks a million. Maybe you can sell it at Brazen....if you find it. You really need a Y-Foil.

ISO: Matching 650c/700c tubulars.
I need one of each.
They will likely not see 100 more miles once mounted, but they can't be phugly.
Blackwalls preferred.

It’s gonna be a long search Rob. No such thing as 8 or 9 speed Campy compact. They didn’t come along until 10 speed era and AFAIK, only in carbon fiber in a square taper. You’ll need a triple or another brand to go smaller than a 39. I used FSA compact with 10 speed.

They made a compact double, square taper, in Centaur and Veloce flavors also, both 10speed.

That works! Can't argue with the Chasertech pullies, especially if they're blue, that'd pop nicely with what this is going on.

You mind tossing in the old pulleys too? At least one looks to have some life left in it.

Silver it is. Drop me a PM when you're ready to go. I'm in packing mode this weekend for a frameset, some electronics and other parts. I'll get the rings ready to go while I'm at it.
