Well at least I know what mine will look like in a way.My hat off to you.You really did do a great job on the BD.I am getting the BD frame soon here to in a 18".But I want cantilever breaks on my setup.I want to just ride it and have fun with it.Its a bicycle that you can do so much with.Even tho I have a great Surly LHT setup that I love and the money I have in that ride lol.The BD will be the same way I will lots of money in it too.

AdamDZ what is the spacing for the front fork is it 100mm? I know the rear is 135mm.Thanks for any info you can

I will post pics but it's going to be a long time building this BD I would say about one to three years for me.I did get my wheels on order yesterday.More than I wanted to spend but hey this is going to be my last bicycle I can build.Wheels cost me over 512.00 but I don't mind over all they will look very well on the BD I think.Next on order is the BD frame it self then I will have to wait for a while .I am retired and on very little money to waste but my wife is a little piss at me lol. And I don't give a s--t either.Oh how I wish I never got married now days 15 years is to long for me lol Her health is not good but I do all the work around here.Sure wish you could have you still had your BD it made me sick to hear you sold it lol.Pics will come but really slow it could be a very long time but it will happen.

Oh, sorry to hear that 
You do what you can though. But you will have the two most expensive pieces: the frame and the wheels. Everything else should be much cheaper and if you look for sales and clearances you may be able to get good parts for much less. Good luck!

My wheels are being built now.And they are using Shimano Deore M525 36H Disc front 100mm and the rear is 135mm spacing and the rims are Mavic XM719 Disc Rims.The shop wanted to know why these rims I looked at him and said cause I want good wheels for my Big Dummy.He laugh and said oh that frame ok.He did say that with these wheels I should be good to go anywhere I wanted to go.

Kickstand. Home made.
Just found your site. The following may help you in the future should you need to find another kickstand. Go the following Youtube page.
"Nate Byerley, President of Xtracycle, demonstrates how you can customize your KickBack using 7/8" diameter tubing (22.2mm for our metric friends) to achieve a wider stance, goofy footing, etc."

The Yuba stand has a little "foot", that might help a bit. The Xtracycle is out of their double kickstand, besides it's expensive. And yeah, where I live it's mostly asphalt and concrete
The handlebars are very comfortable. Italian. Imported from Urop!
Yuba kickstand:
If it has wideloaders then you can lay the BD on its side and it will support itself on the wideloader. That's why it's a good idea to have some rubber tubing or something attached to protect the wideloaders.
