Urban Assault bike
Decided to keep my Rockhopper . Reinstalled my street cruiser accessories today along with a few tweaks .
Ready to take on any Curbs , potholes , and multi use paths .
Riding this bike I get the feeling I’m driving a jacked up 4x4 . With the 2.5”x 29” Maxxis Hookworms it rides over bumps with ease .

Nice. Since I don't do anything more serious than a little gravel, I'd love to ride one those with a solid fork.

This is THE bike I’ve been riding lately .
I finally got everything setup to where it’s comfortable to ride . A lot of trail and error involved .
Cruising to town On what is called a multi use path , this bike absorbs and smooths out the many bumps along the way . The path is mostly an old concrete sidewalk complete with uneven slabs . The sections that are paved have roots pushing up causing more bumps .
The front suspension , ergo grips , and big tires help a lot .
Even the Brooks Imperial saddle helps with the bumps .

Reminds me of my Trek DS 8.4. I bet having that low gear is nicer on the knees.
