Regarding Florida Man; the character I often saw was the shirtless guy, wandering around down near the tracks near Hiway 1, or aimlessly crossing some major boulevard... seemed to have that 1000 yard stare, always seemed to have a limp, and never seemed to walk in a straight line. Now these were generally younger folks... not older retirement age folks, but guys somewhere in their 30s-50s and just looked burned out. Maybe it was just working (or partying) too long in the hot sun, or just out seeking that next beer... just wandering... down that long lonesome highway...
