This stupid virus is going to make me do something I hate
I hate riding in long pants. So I go to the Gym that my health ins pays for when it gets cold. But now with this rotten virus, I really dont want to go there. So after lunch today I am going to go and get some long pants to wear to ride now that it is getting cold.

It's making you do this? Are you sure?
If the virus made you jump off a cliff, would you do it?

This stupid virus made me miss the funeral of both of my best friend's parents. They died within 3 days of each other due to this stupid virus.
OP... I feel your pain.

you can do this in a 10x10' space in the comfort of your warm home. you will get a more complete workout than laying down on a chair and meandering around town on a 'bent would give you.
...or figure out how to set up your 'bent to Zwift and ride virtually inside.
Im glad I could help resolve your crisis.

It made me work from home. Now instead of spending quality time commuting 3 hours a day I suffer riding my bikes twice as much as before.

You're on a bent?
The bent's the easiest thing to ride on an indoor turbo trainer. I put my Optima Baron onto one, prop a laptop in front of me with headphones on my ears, and just sit back, pedal, and catch up some on some TV that I missed over the summer.
Heck, you could easily find one on FB/CL for less than 50. Get a smart speed sensor for your GPS to track milage and you're all set.

If wearing long pants is the biggest inconvenience you have, consider yourself very, very, fortunate.

(Yeah, maybe, for some people, this is a distasteful topic .... too soon for humor ... but those are some amusing posts.)
Mr. Rydabent .... can your bike be fit on a fluid trainer?
And maybe a training program where everyone goes slowly and there are no hills?

I've just read that Covid can cause chronic cognitive deficits equivalent to the brain aging 10 years. I'm in my seventies, I can't afford to lose 10 years of brain power. Wear your mask, please or you may have to read BF posts made by someone with an 80+ year old brain!
