Actually, they do.
I once had a job interview where the VP of a company flat out said "You don't look old enough to have done all this."
I have a baby face... runs in the family... people could not believe my mother had her five children... she didn't look "old enough."
I will admit I hear that "complement" less and less these days.

Been Around Awhile
Used to get the Stars and Stripes while living in Germany in the 80's. Calvin & Hobbes, Doonesbury, and The Far Side were all on the same page of the comics. Made reading everything that was worth reading in the S&S a quick easy read and worth the nickel or quarter or whatever it cost.

Been Around Awhile
It cost something, I remember GIs writing a check for its exact purchase price at the snack bar and not even anything over the newspaper cost in order to get some extra cash.

I might have paid for it... so long ago... But then that was the '70s for me... Maybe it was free where I was stationed. I just remember it was around... Maybe it was Navy Times that was free.
