choosing a kid trailer
I'm looking for a bike trailer for my 1 year old kid.
I had the opportunity to try a Burley Bee and and Burley Cub for a day, a they both seems not very comfortable for my son, who was not able to sleep that much.
We are planning to use it mainly for some 1 day tours and maybe once a year for a weekly trip.
We would like a trailer that can become easily a stroller, to be able to walk a bit around when we stop.
Thule ones seem awesome, but the price is a bit too high for what we have in mind.
Do you have any suggestion for a comfortable but not too expensive trailer? And also, in your experience, which are the most relevant features in a trailer?

Chariot (Thule) is as good as it gets. I recommend you check Craigslist and the local for sale sites for a decent used one. We’ve used ours for 8-9 years and then stored it for another 3 and when we sold it, it was still in mint condition. We never babied it or anything.

For tiny kids the seating in any trailer is still a bit difficult. Both companies make hammocks for infants and extra padding for older babies who don't quite fit yet

My kid is 13 months old, so he's able to sit in the trailer without problems. In the Burley trailer we tried he had issues getting asleep, because they were not very comfortable and stable

Well, the ones with suspension have the price you don't like. You could get some bigger tires and run them soft.

1 year old is pretty young.
Can you strap a car seat into the trailer? Make sure the trailer has good coverings over the kid to keep dust and debris out.
I just do cargo, and find a way to drop the center seat support down flat. Then make sure you get the seat secured in well.

Just something to look at but my daughter hated riding in a trailer. We found a used wehoo on Craigslist. My daughter loved it and still does. I would not use it until your kid was a little older but after we found trailers unusable this saves us.
