Argh...it's only October, for Christ's sake!

I like everything about Christmas except for how the crass consumerist nightmare cranks up the day right after Remembrance Day. Oh, and the whack-a-doodle story that inspired it, I could do without that, too. But the family stuff and the break from work is great.
