Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I just purchased my first Road Bike

It's a Black and Green Trek ALR Emonda from Summit Bikes. Now the last one my size was sold out, so they will have it in next week, but it has been officially purchased along with the many important essential equipment I inquired about. It just felt a lot better than the 1.5 and 1.2 Madone. I didn't test Fuji I admit, but this bike did feel right for me and I tested other sizes. I just didn't find any weaknesses with it and I tested it a few miles multiple times to compare and contrast to the other Treks of lesser price. There wasn't any contest which was the better bike. So it will be on Friday when I get it. Sure, I could have went with another brand, but this was the one.

It's fine. Go ride it. Buyer's remorse is a waste of time.

Lol, I upgraded my wheels a few weeks after getting my ALR 5.

Grats OP on the purchase. It's a really nice bike for the money. You'll love it.
