Need Help Please Pairing Wahoo Elemnt Bolt to Garmin Sensors

So I have given up on Garmin after 2 units failed for the same reason and have just bought the Wahoo Element Bolt. I had no problem pairing my Garmin HR strap sensor to the Wahoo, works great. But the Wahoo is not recognizing either the Garmin speed or cadence sensors. I have had both the phone app open and the Bolt near the sensors and have tried to wake the sensors by spinning the pedal and of course the rear wheel but nothing. Appreciate any suggestions or help.

I have paired Garmin sensors with my Elemnt. I would suggest removing the batteries from the sensors and then try pairing.

Thank you for your reply, it helped as it has been so long since my last Garmin crapped out, I had forgotten about the batteries, so you jogged my aging memory. I just replaced the battery in the speed sensor with the one spare I had on hand and works like a champ, hardly had to spin the wheel to get it recognized. Plan on picking up another battery for the cadence sensor.

Especially after reinstalling the batteries to the unit (LOL).

I had no issues pairing Garmin speed sensors to a Bolt.
