This year so far, I have the following miles on each bike. Can you tell which one I like riding more?

Fixed gear - 1308
Carbon geared - 61
CX geared - 192
SS MTB - 226

So today I did what I said I would never do. Cinelli Pepper bar went on the TK2 with OURY lock ons. Commuted to work on it. Really thought it would be terrible. Thought I would absolutely hate how it rode, how it felt and definitely how it looked. Damnit I was so wrong. They feel a bit wide so I may cut them down and just ride them. Need to figure out something for the brake because it is right next to the stem and that doesn't work well with my hands on the grips. The bike felt so alive and call me crazy, but I felt faster on it with these bars vs bullhorns.

I accidentally did another this week. $20+tax for this tank with borked rear derailleur, and I didn't wanna keep switching tires on the only bike I had here, or just wearing out my knobbies on pavement commutes.

I swear this fork weighs 8 lbs.

Today I watched the Italian Grand Prix. The Mugello track in Tuscany is stunningly gorgeous and has a very long front straight (1141 metres).

Andrea Iannone, riding for Ducati, hit a new all time top speed record for a GP bike.

354.9 KPH or 220.5 MPH

Ridiculous. And awesome at the same time. Freakin' missiles.

I need to get a new wheelset and frameset for my ss/fg road bike, I never ride it any more because I just don't like it. Track bike gets ridden most Tuesdays from Apr to Aug, but never on the road.

I think if I had like a wabi or something w a custom wheelbuild that I'd be stoked on it. I wanna try to put in more of my steady endurance rides on the ss/fg.

Oh, and today I'm going to do my easy ride on the ss/fg. Because of reasons.

By far, the racers with the biggest balls are the Moto GP guys.

For 6 bills complete, you really can't go wrong with it. Would be a tad short for me as my current ride has a tt of 58. All torso so a shorter frame doesn't really work for me. Might be interested though if the price is right.

FG is great for just base mileage when you aren't doing an unnecessary amount of climbing, I hardly ever ride too far out of the city so my road bike mainly just sits against the wall, hoping to be more adventurous with it though once the weather gets better.

Riding a true track bike on the road is awful though, I agree.

Today I: found an odd-ball fork at a garage sale.

A wound up with carbon steerer, 35mm track rake without the wonky-looking backwards facing fork ends, *90mm* spacing instead of the standard 100mm. A custom order perhaps?

(last night) I scored a Park repair stand off CL and then stayed up waaaaay too late re-wrapping my wife's bars (gaps, man.), adjusting her FD, and swapping a saddle for her. Then I proceeded to strip my bike down for a deep clean and got as far as removing the fork and cleaning the headset when I decided to call it quits so my bike is pieces currently.
