Anyone become angry or aggressive while riding your fixie?

Your path is clear.
Trade your 'fixie' for a geared bike.
You will run no more risk of fixie related violence and possible homicide.
Problem solved.

I mean the dude from Nickelback is pretty god like. Have you heard that band, freakin' blows the pants off of anyone else since the beginning of recorded music till now. I mean Rolling Stone lists should really all just be Nickelback from 100-1. Why bother listing other bands when Nickelback is so awesome. I am surprised that Retrogression doesn't sell Nickelback box sets, that would be so much better than satanic murder music from the likes of Dark Sabbath and Metaltalica.

veganbikes, the Jewish people of today are the biblical Edomites not the tribe of Judah. You guys stole an African religion and you are not the true Jewish people.

I stole nothing (except for a candy bar when I was younger)! I had nothing to do with the religion of Judaism aside from being part of it for a bit well after it had been established. I didn't make any rules or decisions for them and I make no claims of anything about it nor do I control any bits of the past. It may very well be an old African faith or it may not have been but it doesn't change facts that you are racist.

Man, I've been too mellow and soft all this time, and all I needed to fix that is to ride more!

Not gunna touch the racial and theological aspects of this thread but the acting more aggressive when riding is kind of interesting. I've noticed this in myself at times as well as other cyclists and drivers. I would attribute the over aggressive behavior to road rage. It doesn't need to be extreme to be considered road rage either. Whether driving a motor vehicle or bicycle sometimes we gain a stronger sense of entitlement, forget they're sharing the road or pathway and tend to over react to what most would consider trivial matters when viewed from another perspective. You say other people are provoking you, which may sometimes be the case, but it's your choice to react the way you do. If you feel like your anger is a problem (it's not the person provoking you that's the cause, that's the excuse) then maybe you've gotta figure out what's really making you mad. Not trying to get all therapist up in here but i can relate having acted aggressively then reassessing and realizing there may have been another cause for those actions.

Definitely the most entertaining thread this week.
My guess is that he actually is not racist. My guess is that he really does have friends from many groups, and that the problem here is in the presentation. We will never know. Racism is not about words, although words can be a lens into a person, but instead about actions.
One thing is a fact, though. He is really good at getting threads locked or "cleaned."

The general consensus has been what I stated generally. People can argue and debate it till they are blue in the face and probably do but the definition is pretty widely accepted and yes I was using a broad brush and things did change during the Cold War yada yada yada but for the sake of this argument what I said holds. I am not really much into Mao so I certainly won't debate what you said on him because most communism just doesn't do much for me.
So Boohbahbikes, you see any more foreigners on the trail today?

If you have that much aggression, perhaps you should join a boxing club, not judo, or wrestling. But a real contact sport. Just make sure you join one in a "third world" type neighborhood. That should sort you out just fine. Or get a multi speed and get off the mup. Just a helpful tip.

I get pretty angry, ala "road rage' when I ride and motorists do something really stupid. Cut me off, run red lights/stop signs, yell at me out the window, etc.
It usually gets me to sprint real fast trying to catch up with them, get winded a few minutes later, and realize it all doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. But if I do catch them at a red light, I will speak to them.
I don't pick fights with people on crowded trails though. Mainly because I don't like riding on paths & trails. I like city streets.

I didn't say that I banned him . I agree that he was amusing for a minute there, but you could tell right off the bat that he wasn't going to last long.

So, I gather that you were just amused by his bigoted remarks regarding Mexicans and Asians ? It's one thing to make funny remarks about outriding us with his 30 inch quads, but it's another to be racist hater.

AH I wish I knew which path he rides on. Give him a pat on the back and discuss how I stole Judaism from Africa.

I didn't see any racism from the guy. Work on being less sensitive about everything, Mexicans aren't supposed to be so whiny about a few chistes. People being so whiny is why Trump is so ahead, people are tired of it.
