My new bike to be: Raleigh Rapide Mixte for 80.00
So I'm going a little nuts. Bought my first mixte bike last Tuesday and love it -- a Suteki... but have always like Raleigh bikes since I had one in high school. This one has been on CL for awhile and the owner has agreed to take 80 bucks for it.
Vintage Raleigh Rapide Mixte Road Bicycle
She said that she has been riding it and it works -- but tires could probably stand to be replaced. Basically figure it would need new tires and breaks... but I figure for 80 bucks, even with the tune-up, it could be a decent bike?
What do y'all think? (other than the obvious -- I am freaking nuts!)
