Shipping estimate for this week... I am pretty doubtful but I'm still crossing my fingers! Once it is in my hands I'll decide if I prefer risers or bullhorns, but I'm leaning more towards the bullhorns. Otherwise everything else is ready to go!

chub hub really takes the glory out of dat trackend
also needs messenger zen ring in black, also needs front hub white not silver.
sweetest 4130 bike i've seen in a long time though
anthony furlong usually takes pictures of WRX's and STi's. he's better at them, too.

Yes. I rode today for about 1 1/2 hours non-stop wearing a lycra bib short with decent padded chamois, and it felt a bit hard at times, but my butt was not sore at all after the ride. The most bothersome thing about it is that the combination of the slippery material of the short and the hard slick surface of the saddle had me sliding around a lot on it. It's certainly more comfortable than my Brooks Pro was when I first got it. That said, IDK if I'd want to ride it on a century.

Unless you are built like a gorilla, you're going to need a really short stem with bullhorns due to the very long top tube.

Haha, yes that is my biggest worry... I feel I am pretty normal, but based on the bikes I currently have in my arsenal I can rough estimate everything... I have a 60mm, 70mm, 110mm, and 120mm stem...so I'll be able to dial it in pretty quick. As far as the bullhorns go, I mostly ride in the tops, but when theres a long straight I like to stretch out... I have a few different bars to try out and like I've mentioned in other threads, I love blocks away from Universal Cycles, so I'm sure I'll set it up and be on the road in no time, once the frame and everything shows up.

Bought a 721 v2 a month or so ago, and just waiting for a 17t cog to come in for it. Can't wait to post a pic of it for trial/deliberation/judgement.

Well, I weigh < 140 lbs, so that's a big difference and the hollow rails might not work for someone your weight. Also, the shell is pretty thin, and might deflect too much. IDK about the BMX version, never seen one, so I can't say.

What do you think?
What do you guys think? Its a 63cm 781R Frame, Sram S300 Crankset 48T, 15T Dura Race Cog, Sella Italia Gel Flow Seat.
Soon to get some H Plus Son Wheels, then hopefully one day get a HED Tri-spoke.

as i continue to build up my 722ts, i'm now about to order my stem and seatpost. I was thinking about going with the VO grand cru seatpost, and tall stack stem. I was wondering if any of you could weigh in on the grand cru seatpost- i know it has 30mm of setback, but i was trying to see if i should get a stem that's exactly 30mm shorter than if i used a straight post with no setback, or slightly greater/less (example only and not actual #s: if i would use a 110 stem with a no setback post, should i get a 80mm?). i didnt include a specific stem length because i know that depeds on my body's dimensions, i'm mainly wondering if the setback of the seatpost and decrease in stem length should match, as i want to have some saddle adjustment for fine tuning, and i'm using a b17, so won't have as much ability to move the saddle forward/backward as other saddles due to the shorter rails.
furthermore, I am currently debating between bullhorns and the nitto noodle, which i know will affect stem length as well. in order to get a more clear answer, i'll say i'm going to use the noodle.
thanks in advance.

Your cog is slipping.
The thing that's great about the Grand Cru seatpost is that even though it has so much setback, the clamp is small and positioned in a way that leaves a ton of room for fore/aft adjustment. If you're planning on using a Brooks saddle (which has short rails), you'll find that even with the saddle all the way back, it's still pretty centered above the post.
Oh and BTW - I can have Noodles in stock in three days.
