Agreed.... this bike screams for some Fulcrum 1's or Boras for race day.

Keep in mind response to your exceptional bike will be greeted by either jealousy or a gapping hole of ignorance and lack of appreciation for the synthesis of art and design in its essence. The timely posting of your bike is among the many from the region of the world that is proof positive why no other comparable list but the one I postulated exists.
Congratulations. You are a man of obvious taste.

Althought I am not a fan over the new look of the shifters... The curves in the fork of your Pinarello makes them blend right in.

I read an interview with Fausto Pinarello in Road Bike Action in which he said that all of their CF bikes were made in Taiwan...hmmmm. Maybe they just paint them in Italy.

actually quite the opposite. i could have got the SR full groupo a month ago but i didn't want the crank so i had to wait for someone who would sell just the components alone. the Zipp VumaQuad is one of the stiffest and lightest cranks on the market and that's what i am going to get.

full-time spending money on bike parts
the build calculates in at 6780 grams (14.95 lbs) without cage and computer.
there is some further lightening planned.
this bike will never be a true lightweight because pino frames are on the not the lightest. (get a scott, parlee, etc for that) but i have always ridden pino, i like the stiffness, durability and design of them.

Assuming you upgraded from Record 10, how would you compare the shifting? With all the changes to the shifter internals, is the shifting as stiff as Record 10? Also, how do you like the new ergo shape?

For such a nice frame several things don't make sense
1) FSA crank
2) Schwalbe tires
Wtf?
Also the font on that super record group leaves something to be desired. They look like bike parts you'd get from a dollar store.

[QUOTE=wideAMG;7647236]shifts beautifully. really nice ergonomics.
still some upgrades to do on the build but its close to my target weight.
notice that i am not using the 11 speed crank, will be switching to the VumaQuads. shifts great on the FSA 10 speed.
ask away.
I just had the VumaQuads with the ceramic bottom bracket installed on my Paris Carbon. I previously was using a Stronglight Pulsion crank. What a huge difference! The ceramic bottom bracket is a must. It is so buttery smooth and resistance free it actually feels like someone just released your brakes from rubbing. Yes it's insanely expensive, but what the hell, you only live once, right?
At the same time I changed my crank, I replaced my seat post which came stock with the Paris Carbon to the new MOST seatpost that comes stock with the Prince, because my old sea post was boogered up from trauma. I also replaced my old Arione saddle with the new Arione CX with the braided carbon rails. These changes almost took a full pound off of my bike!

If you believe the hype about super record, though, the SR cranks come with 1. better chainrings, and 2. the highest-grade ceramic bearings money can buy, at least right up there with Zipp. Plus the Ultra-Torque design is just so nice that if it were my $$$ I'd stick with Campy. Just my $0.02.
