I guess I could strap the box holding her ashes to my rear rack, but it's going to be quite wet here on Sunday.

My mom wasn't into the idea. I don't get it -- she's only 92. My husband said she could borrow his bike. I guess I'll take her out for a ride in my convertible instead. If it isn't raining.

Thanks. It was almost 6 years ago.

Just hope she doesn't get back at you from the grave by naming you the executor of her estate. It's no fun.

She's been dead for years but I remember the last mother's days I came to visit and we rode to a village nearby, my dad and brother too. My parents always had bikes ready for visitors, that's what old people do here, especially on good weather sundays, ride somewhere where there's a small event or something, have a few drinks or a meal and ride back home.

I heard that my mom rode a bicycle once in '77. Not a big outdoor fan.
