trek madone 4.7 (2010) Vs cerevelo S1 = TOUGH choice
hello guys this is my first post here, i have to say your forum's great.
well, im between these bikes the madone 4.7 and the cervelo S1. Im into climbing but i also do some triathlon, i can find the madone in a bike shop near my house , but there's not a cervelo dealer in my country , so that gives an advantage to the madone...
considering this which of the two is the best bike? do you suggest any other models?
thanks,
markos

If you can indicate the country where you are located, that could help?

Get the Madone, local support if things go wrong can't be underestimated.

Unless you are willing to replace the crankset/chainrings on the S1. The gossamer is a flying piece of crap. So crap you could almost call it defective. I've seen $30 square taper cranksets shift better than that.

Madone.. for all the above reasons. Plus it has the same geometry as Lance's bike so you're guaranteed to be fast.

I like my Cervelo a lot but in your situation it seems like the Trek is the way to go. The Madone is definitely an excellent bike!
