OK, I couldn't resist. About 950 for the bike, another 250 pounds for the trailer.

Finally... a thread I can brag in!
The OCC Schwinn in my sig is 44 pounds empty, I just weighed it on a digital bathroom scale (weighed myself with and without the bike). Just the rear hub weighs almost 5 pounds.
My steel commuter mountain bike with rack, fenders, lights, etc. weighs in at 39 flat. Add a battery and saddlebags, it's easily heavier than the chopper.
Hmmm... interesting.

Anyone who's got an old Schwinn?
Sorry, I couldn't resist. I guess I'll never get over the old Varsity I had before tossing it in the dumpster(Which I do now regret. ...They go for $75 here). It's the only Schwinn I've really had and I guess it made me a little bias.

Not sure what my Pro Tour weighs in at, but I'd guess at least low-to-mid-thirties. It's got pretty much every doodad I could find hung off it—rear rack, front carrier, fenders, lights, dynamo, sprung leather saddle and a chain lock that weighs probably a good 5 pounds.
Right now this is my only bike—when I eventually get my Ironman shipped out here I have a feeling it's going to feel like a feather.
My girlfriend's Trek Belleville is very much the same; I'd wager that it's hovering right around 40 pounds. The only difference is that it comes from the factory like that.
I used to have a cruiser that probably weighed about 40 pounds too. It was kind of a strange 80s model with a 1x5 drivetrain. I added steel fenders, a rear rack and a milk crate (and like six bungees holding the milk crate down... before I learned how awesome zip ties are).
According to the makers of the film, the unopened FedEx package he returned had a solar powered satellite phone inside.

My Schwinn Continental is only 38 lbs. It doesn't qualify for this thread.

My first Honda was a 600. Remember the little 2 cylinder air cooled car that looked like a '73 Civic but 2' shorter? The manual said it was 1250lbs, dry. A '41 Crosley convertable was 950 lbs.

I've never weighed any of mine. With front and rear baskets, I'm sure my Worksman is right on up there.

Whoah... a thread I can't post a picture in lest I become embarrassed.
Once had a 1930's Sunshine Cruiser in the shop and had to weigh it... it was 65 pounds.

I can only just barely lift my Worksman LGB, mostly because it's terribly unwieldy. Have not weighed it. The basket on the front is made of flat steel bands, not wires, which adds a lot to the weight, and quite unnecessarily. Over 90 lbs for sure... over 110? I wouldn't be surprised. It's a beast.

I've long thought that an idea for a club ride would be to set a minimum weight requirement and start the ride with a weigh-off using my hanging digital scale. Any bikes that came in too light would be required to carry bricks or some such until they're up to the minimum. But what should the minimum be? I figured my '37 Raleigh Sports with full chaincase might be a good standard, but I need to weigh it. I've assumed it's about 40 lbs.

40 pounds sounds like a good starting point to me. I can just see the guys who bought new Felt carbons riding with bricks on their backs. Epic!

I was working on a kids BMX a few days ago for a neighbor. This tiny BMX must have weighed at least 35 pounds...probably closer to 40. I think it was a Next...biggest piece of junk I've ever seen.
