1988 Mongoose Hill Topper Value?
Watching this Mongoose Hill Topper on local auction. I'm almost positive it is a 1988 model, Wildfire Red / White, and it appears to be nearly original except for the seat. Still has foam grips.
I like the thumb shifters (SIS/Friction) and the vintage Blackburn Mountain Rack would be a bonus.
Near the bottom of the MTB line. I'm thinking, it's worth at least $25, or ?? Not that it makes much of a difference but, I do have a rear wheel that has a QR instead of the stock nutted axle. Maybe add some street slick tires.
It would be a secondary/commuter vintage rigid MTB and maybe a possible flip after riding for a while.

I’d pay $25 if I wanted to ride it or fix up for a friend. Could make a good commuter or utility bike. I wouldn’t expect to be able to flip it for much.
