Yes, as those guys ^ said, the Winter Bike Swap is on, again. It's a little bizarre as they had definitely announced that it was not happening, but I'm glad it's back. I'm looking forward to it, and to Brazen Dropouts. See you there!

Nine days left, here's to hoping everyone has good weather and safe travel. Now here's the true test of a C&V addict. Who's been looking at the Madison CL and places along the travel route for gems??

Bike corral C&V

I'll be sticking a 1975 Sekine in the bike corral. All original components, complete with owners manual. Japanese built, not Canadian.

A funeral came up so I won't be there. Weather for the next few days looks fine, but too soon to know for that far away.

I won't be scanning CL. Too many other C&V types between here and there. I did notice there is a set of Kreitler rollers in Cary, IL.

Here's an IM in Edgerton, about 25 min out. Can't tell if it's an '85 or '86, pic was taken from at least a ZIP code away... 56cm, maybe 58?

Unfortunately I am no longer attending. I spent my bike swap money on Seahawk tickets that will be on Sunday in Green Bay. Sad that I won't do the swap, but excited to go to Lambeau Field to see the Hawks best the Packers! An unfortunate concession to the wife to allow me to go to the game. Have fun you all!

How your priorities align isn't always on a single axis. It's a mutidimensional space. I certainly understand how you could make the choice you did. Post a pic in the moment.

There is a gentleman that sets up at Madison every year who builds/fabricates custom recumbents. I do not recall his business or his name. He will buy/accept reasonable quality damaged frames and he likes smaller MTB frames and beefy MTB forks for potential builds. If you have a need to purge anything along those lines, he's your guy.

I know him. Obviously he can't pay a lot for frames, but he recycles them very efficiently:

I decided to just go up early the morning of the 11th. Hopefully I haven't committed to share a hotel room with anyone Friday night. If I have (maybe crank_addict ?), let me know and I'll go up Friday instead.

Everyone who loves football should experience a Packer victory at Lambeau in January.

Robbie's booth will be covered with a red canopy and we should have signage or something to let BF members know the spot. If it isn't cold inside, I'll be wearing my Coppi shirt.
