Looks like Ben is avoiding the direct-to-consumer model: "...for the most part, we will avoid shipping a bicycle to someone's home in a box."

Interesting, he had a website which the article mentioned since 2017 and I'd checked it out last year and he was offering 2 bikes though it didn't really seem set up to sell. Glad to see him coming back, getting into the racing scene in the early 90s near Syracuse there were always a number of his bikes at every ride/race, when I went to college in Albany there were even more. Always wanted one but was always too broke to afford them. The new ones are probably still priced out of my range as I see to recall the new frames were going to be in the 3k+ dollar range which I can't justify still.

I believe it is #3 . Don't like the distribution model he described.
Glad to see him back. I am in the same boat as Russ Roth .

Unfortunately the market is already flooded with companies offering frames that look identical to the new models he is going to be marketing. That coupled with his predicted price range of $4,000 to $11,500 means he is going to have trouble competing with larger companies offering essentially the same product for a lower price.

Nice to see, but hard to imagine any new steel being significantly better than a $1350 Wraith Hustle (frame/fork).

The Wraith may not be "art," but for the extra money, it sure works like poetry in motion.

Saving my pennies for a new Lemond....will make do in the interim with an Italian made carbon...

I do like looking for/at older Serotta's. The riders seem very content.

I hope he does great.

Best of luck to him. In the late 90s, I treated myself and built up a used Tri-Colorado 650c with used Campy parts to use as my road bike. Still have it and ride it. Wonderful bike.
