Do I have to remove the decals? Frame repair

im sending in Litespeed in for a bit of a repair on a crack. i dont know how the heat travels on a frame when you weld it.. am i going to loose all my decals? do i have to remove the headset? with the intense heat cause it to warp? the crack is at the joint between the headtube and the downtube... just wondering how much this will affect the decal work on the frame.. and i guess i will need to remove the headbadge?

wowwwwwww .... i dont know much

any ideas

Agreed. Each manufacturer has their take on what they want and how they do what they do. But the usual goal is to return the customer's frame in a condition that mimics that the was sent to them at worst. At best a greater refinishing can be the case. You need to ask. I find offering to pay for better finishing results can bring nice results Andy

You might want to inquire into if your frame is clear coated as well.

I don't think Litespeed clearcoats their frames.
