Fabric Radius Cell Saddle Test
Put 100+ miles on a Fabric Radius Cell this weekend. 30-40 miles at a time. I found the cell top really does what they claim as there was no sit bone pressure at all and it really smoothed out the rear on rough roads.
Only major complaint is that the throat of the saddle has a very hard edge where the top is joined to the pan. This edge was literally cutting off circulation to my legs and after 20 or so miles I could feel a strange weakness in both legs. Standing up for a bit restored things, but it was a recurring problem.
Butt sweat was another issue that was encountered. Never had a sweaty ass before, but on this saddle I did.
The designers need to do a rethink on this saddle and get rid of that edge and put a leather top on it to aid in breathability to help mitigate butt sweat.
