I looked, honest I did. I could not find one on the interwebs.

There was just a thread about proprietary parts--this is a good example--one of the carriers of derailleur hangers advertises they carry over 550 types--is this really necessary!? Seems like there could be at least an attempt at standardization--even if it got it down to 150, it would be an improvement.

If I were you I'd be extremely PO'd that my one-year-old bike might be destined to become a single-speed for lack of a proprietary sacrificial part. That, or having to replace the whole rear transmission.

I'll be taking it on a test run tonight. Murphy's Law probably dictates it will fail when I'm the furthest out from help or support

Not the manufactuer's fault, it was my fault it broke. I was being stupid. Lesson learned.
I'm also going to try and get extra spares for future incidents!

UPDATE: FAILURE! Broke while I was installing it

Would it be possible to recreate your own? It doesn't necessarily have to look exactly like the original; only the important bits need to be in the same places & line up.
Is there a machine shop local to you? They could fabricate something, certainly.
Alternatively... know anyone with a 3D printer?

But, I think we might have this licked with the machine screws holding it together after drill and tapped, it's looking good!

If you need more clearance you can grind the screws heads down. It's not like you plan on taking them out again.

Got it all back together, holding great and I'm probably putting more stress on it working on it than I will riding with it.
Went up and down the block a bit, seems fine. Got some more fine tuning to do tommorow.
