Hanger

Not sure if it helps, but THIS (RJP201701) appears to be what you are looking for.
I looked, honest I did. I could not find one on the interwebs.
It seems to be Jamis specific, I could find no generic.

There was just a thread about proprietary parts--this is a good example--one of the carriers of derailleur hangers advertises they carry over 550 types--is this really necessary!? Seems like there could be at least an attempt at standardization--even if it got it down to 150, it would be an improvement.

Agreed, good example. Proprietary parts are a PITA to source.

When you find a supply, order two. Or three.

If I were you I'd be extremely PO'd that my one-year-old bike might be destined to become a single-speed for lack of a proprietary sacrificial part. That, or having to replace the whole rear transmission.

#1 the OP knows it's his fault and doesn't blame the manufacturer or the LBS.

#2 i don't thing there is a "standard" for a RD hanger. All the ones i've seen are fairly specific to the model.

Backup plan, excellent! If it passes your test ride, how long is the main event? We need to poll this and vote on how far you make it... I'll give you to the 10 mile mark.

Funny thing is, about 4 months back before the whole COVID thing, I was telling myself I need to source spare just in case....I did start looking at one point but wasn't' desperate yet that I ever got to the bottom of it.

Not the manufactuer's fault, it was my fault it broke. I was being stupid. Lesson learned.

I'm also going to try and get extra spares for future incidents!

UPDATE: FAILURE! Broke while I was installing it

But, I'm not giving up yet. Investigating drill & tap options next and even Aluminum Welding. I know a couple friends who might be able to help. I promised them beer in payment.

So I'm back to considering this! Taked with a friend who might have the taps needed and we have drill presses. Also have a neighbor who is a machinist. Aluminum welding might be another option.

Never give up, never say die!

I love your enthusiasm! Weld it yourself. Check out this introductory video
on welding aluminum. You can pick up the supplies from Home Depot

Would it be possible to recreate your own? It doesn't necessarily have to look exactly like the original; only the important bits need to be in the same places & line up.

Is there a machine shop local to you? They could fabricate something, certainly.

Alternatively... know anyone with a 3D printer?

That isn't the same as real welding and it won't hold up under much stress.

But it IS the manufacturer's fault that you can't get a replacement of a part that's designed to be sacrificed to save your derailleur (and maybe your wheel). They should be better about keeping a stock of those.

I could definitely model it in CAD. Printing in a tough material would be the next challenge

But, I think we might have this licked with the machine screws holding it together after drill and tapped, it's looking good!

If you need more clearance you can grind the screws heads down. It's not like you plan on taking them out again.

Got it all back together, holding great and I'm probably putting more stress on it working on it than I will riding with it.

Went up and down the block a bit, seems fine. Got some more fine tuning to do tommorow.

I've enjoyed reading about your "Adventures in Derailleur Hanger Repair" and I hope it serves you well until you can get a replacement.
