Classic and Vintage Frame Pumps
Curious as to what sort of frame pumps you folks use on your C and V bikes, vintage or modern.

Painted-to-match Silca with Campy metal head for the Eisentraut. Zefal HPs everything else (2 Cinellis, a Ron Cooper and a Paramount). I might switch over to a Silca (not painted to match, but close match) on one of the Cinellis, but I might not.
I also carry CO2. When I have to change a tube on the road, I start with the pump, finish with the CO2. I like having and using both, and I get more air in than with a pump alone. I really like having the pump in case I screw up with the CO2. I hate being stranded with no way to inflate my tire. I carry at least two sparte tubes, sometimes three, for the same reason. What can I say, sometimes belt-and-suspenders is the way to go.

Spare tubes, inflator and frame pump, never been stranded from being overprepared.

This topic has me rethinking my modern mini-pump; might need to source frame pumps. I grew up with a Zefal Solibloc, which is pretty but no idea if as efficient as the HPx.
And can the Zefals be color-matched to the bike?

Sure, just so long as you stick with light grey or black bikes.

I have my original Celeste Silca Impero on the Bianchi and a modified Zefal Solibloc inside the seat post and seat tube of the Cannondale MTB

Funny, and technically correct, but I was of course thinking along the lines of can you disassemble one and paint it.
Hmm, now I recall that I also used to have a Zefal Competition, I think that one worked really well (I've until now avoided Silca as inadequate as a dog deterrent).

Zefal HP for me as well (I only have a pic of he Fuji wearing one, though - same one since 1979! I bashed several before that over bad doggie noggins...
I have another on the Univega Gran Tourismo...
One spare -- just in case - but always looking for another!
I pick them up at various yard sales/online auctions/bike co-ops when i find them.

HPx because they just work. I stripped the paint off one to go with my chrome Pro, and I may make a winter project of repainting another to match the off-white on my Mercian's seat tube. I have some Mercian transfers courtesy of nlerner to go all matchy-matchy.

Bluemels Tour de France
I bought this Bluemels, and it fit, just not tightly enough on my braze-on pump pegs that are 19" apart.
I got a few rides out of it, and then it fell and I rode over it, smashing the tube. I saved the rest of it, (It cost
$60.00 with the shipping), and am hoping for a longshot chance at a new tube.
