Vintage Ciocc tandem
We've got a lovely 1970's era Ciocc tandem that I posted in the Classic & Vintage section. I though some of you tandemophiles might enjoy the bike as well, so thought I'd give the link here: Ciocc Tandem

Nice bike. Have you considered taking the drum brake off? With the modern brakes you've put on the bike, you don't need it for stopping power, and IMHO, it would look much nicer without it.

Removing the drum brake is a tough call. I totally agree, the bike looks much nicer without the drum, and I've debated removing the drum just for asthetics. Stopping power around town and on rolling rides is adequate with Campy side-pulls, but on big hills I worry about overheating the rims, so it's nice to have the drum as a bail-out anchor.
