Steerer tube length question
Just picked up a shiny new mountain bike. Its a 2016 Niner Air 9 (alloy) and I love everything about it, except for the HEAVY rock shox XC32. I'd love to replace it with something a lot lighter like a Manitou Marvel Pro or a Reba. To save a few bucks I can score a mint used one for cheap, but most have the steerer cut. Does anyone have any experience with this frame and know the size range I can get away with? It's a medium, and yes I know I can take everything apart and figure it out myself but I figured i'd check here first and save myself the headache.

Why don't you just measure the existing total stack height then subtract a few mm depending on what lower-stack headset you may also need to get away with a shorter-but-close cut steer tube?
Edit - - I guess I just echoed Cobba.
