Bottle Cage/Pump
Has anyone ever attached a bottle cage and a pump using one side bracket? My Townie only has two screw mounts on the downtube.

Yep. My little Topeak carbon pump came with such a bracket. Carried it for a couple thousand miles before I decide road tubeless was trustworthy. Worked fine and I never felt it was in the way. Never worked loose.

I do it all the time, I also have two bottle cages mounted on one mount thanks to the fine folks at Wolf Tooth Components and their B-Rad system.

Yes, although with modern oversized downtubes it can be annoying because those pump brackets are often not outbound enough to prevent the pump from rubbing against the frame. I usually need to use some spacers and sometimes longer bolts too.

Yes, all the time. My road bike actually has two sets of screw mounts; I put two bottle cages on, one for water and one for a toolkit. I put the pump on seat tube mount.I also use one of those mounts on my mountain bike.With modern bikes I can't really see an alternative; the days of frame-fitting pumps are pretty much dead.

yes, I have lezyne pumps so mounted on both tandems and on a carbon trek road bike. works perfectly.

I picked up the Topeak Mini Morph and used the included zip ties to attach to the seat tube, worked put perfectly. Then I attached a bottle cage to the mounting screws on the down tube. I like the fact that nothing is adjacent to any part of the frame.
(What's great about the Morph is that you can use your body for increased leverage and power.)

Lezyne pump
I have two of these on both of my bikes. Works well. Works so well I stopped carrying co2 cartridge bicycle pump. I have never even used my co2 pumps. Just collecting dust at my house.
