Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Would be tempted if it took rim brakes.

Just realized you can buy it from the website directly now. If only that was true a few years ago, I would've just ordered directly and have my bike now, instead of having to go through the stupid bike shop.

Welcome back. How are the nice PA roads? How are the cats? How is the dirt track racing. On my end, the awesome shovel is still awesome.

The roads are still nice, except for a couple that have been chip sealed (I think that's the term?) despite looking just fine to me before. The cats are also doing well, although one of them had a tooth removed recently. Never done any dirt track racing.

Might be thinking of this one:

which doesn't go on the dirt unless something has gone terribly wrong.

Did you go to the Corning museum or drink any wine while up there? Both are recommended by DougRNS.

I did not. My wife is interested in the Corning museum, guess I should go check it out. As for the wine, I guess I can do that as well.

I'd be tempted if it was a mountain bike.

Oh, I'd still take one of those Trimbles

One of these, but in that Specialized rainbow trout livery would be way more fun, though. I'd wanna get those Chicago deep dish rims done up too.

Can't you find a used version of the bike you wanted on eBay?

My hotel is across the street from the mall where the Jacksonville mass shooting happened. It’s closed and will be demolished.

Sad.
