Oh no! I got in 33 this morning, but had to cut it short due to guests, etc. Good news is no rain forecast for later, so I should be able to get another ride.

So not posting daily total just yet.

Bad news, it’s hot as the dickens here today.....we’ll see......

Ultimate goal is to literally drop out of the Clydesdale club!!

Just couldn’t hit it a second time as I’d hoped. Missed 12 days of riding in May. So we’ll call it a wrap and pick up next month. Really enjoyed this thread and all who put in the effort to make it fun!

Exceeded my goal of 300 miles this month. Didn't loose weight however.

June goal is weight loss and not miles.

5/9 12mi, spent an hour and a half with the kids on the mtb trails, they're getting quicker.
5/11 5 mi night ride

5/16 13 mi with the kids
5/18 11mi

5/26 9mi, mtb
5/29 11mi commute
5/30 11mi mtb
5/31 9.5mi gravel ride

mtd 252 mi

Made it. The wife and I had a 20 mile ride planned for yesterday. Turned out it was 23 miles. She fell trying to get back on the MUP after riding off the edge and skinned her knee up pretty well. That was at mile 3. She's a champ. Good month.

Finished May off strong with a 45-mile ride in extreme heat (started off at 91 F, ended at 104 F) that was shortened due to a flat tire when a 2" long nail decided to take up residence in my rear tire. Later on, after repairing the tire and putting in a patched tube, and swapping my brake pads, I went out for another 9.2-mile maintenance check ride for a total of 54 miles yesterday.

So, final result for May: 467 miles, smashing the goal of 400 miles in May despite taking six days in a row completely off the bike while waiting on a replacement part for something I broke while doing some maintenance. I'll set a more ambitious goal for June of 500 miles.

May: 467 miles
YTD: 1154 miles

2020 goal: 4000 miles

182 miles, 4 short of last year and 43 short of my goal. It was just too damned cold for me last month. Longest ride was 22 miles, short of my 30 mile goal. Fewer rides, though, for almost the same mileage, which I think means I'm stronger this year than last. Goal for June is the same as for May, 225 miles, which I haven't done in any June for decades, and my longest ride goal is 35 miles, also not done in any June for decades.

Overachieved my goal

Goal was 200 miles. I did 287 miles over 16 rides.

Goal for 2020 = 1500 miles - just about 7mi/day over the April-October riding season here in NH.
Goal for June = 300 miles
