Performance Bike closed all their stores?!

I just did a google maps search in order to check the stores closing hours and it turns out they are all permanently closed! When did that happen. Another victim of the Internet age I guess. Sad

I think one of the stores in CA has a day or two left.

Nevermind, that post from them was older than I thought. They're probably all done.

If you're just finding out about it you missed some good sales. I got some $5 cassettes, $20 wheels, etc.

The one here in Salt Lake was just doing 30% off list price. That meant that the closeout prices were higher than the regular, pre closeout, prices. Needless to say, I didn't get any "closeout specials."

At 30% off, only a few items were deals. The last week had the best deals.

Especially the penultimate day (80% off), and the last day (90% off).

The clearance company actually kept a couple of SKUs at full price even on the last day.

I got a couple of wheelsets cheep 26er for $30 and 27.5 for $40. Bought a few $3 8sp cassettes, etc

I went in on last day at two stores in my area, and everything (almost) was 90% off. Picked up tubes, jerseys and wheel for 1950s prices. Before my time, but that’s how I imagined shopping was in the 50s. A nice wheelset was “reserved” by an employee, and it was probably 60% off, so I passed on it.

The A main in an R/C car race is the main event for the top ten cars after two rounds of qualifying heats. (There are B, C, etc mains, however many are needed. Everyone races regardless how bad they qualified).
