I was actually concerned about heel strike as was Lamplight. When just placing a shoe in the pedal and turning it the heels strike was pretty bad. However, when I rode it my feet naturally fall into a position of no heel strike whatsoever even with the Ortliebs forward on the rack. And it looks so classy.......

I purchased an medium Ortlieb Ultimate handlebar bag in Yellow, and ended up regretting the color choice. Love the bag, but I wish I had bought it in black; all my other Ortlieb stuff is in black. (Silly, I know.)

There's a small scuff mark on the top, vary faint. Anyone want to swap even-steven for a black one?

Unless someone wants to swap a pannier set, 4 black rollers for yellow ones...nah!

Edit: Done! The bag has been swapped.

That's good to hear. I, too, noticed that one is less likely to get heel strike when actually pedaling. I guess your feet just naturally move around at an angle.

Does anyone have Adventure Cycling maps they want to get rid of?

I'd be interested in getting maps for the Lake Erie route and part of the Northern Tier between Niagra Falls and Indiana or whatever. Also would be interested in Lewis and Clark Trail anywhere from North Dakota to St Louis.

Send me a PM

Miyata Valley Runner, ~60cm c-c. Double butted lugged cro-moly. Paint is in decent condition, decals are still present, has some chips and scratches, no dents or dings. Shimano Exage shifters and deraillers. Would make a great touring bike. Want to trade for a road bike/frame.

Brooks B67 - Honey color - almost perfect condition with about 300 miles and 1 proofide treatment since new. This is a sprung saddle, wider than a B17 model and suitable for an upright riding position. Gone

Ultegra Brifters - 3x9 - a bit scratched up but work perfectly. These have brand new black hoods. Gone

Various chainrings - mostly 130mm bcd, some 110mm bcd. Mostly used but do have 2 new in package 52/42 tooth gold/bronze colored biopace rings and a new in package 50t x 130bcd Sakae. Biopace rings are gone.

Cane Creek S3 threadless headset - brand new, black, 1.125 inch diameter.

Strong, heavy steel threadless fork. 1.125 inch. 255mm steerer. Has canti brake and low rider mounts. New.

Want: 32 or 36h silver colored front hub. Two-bolt seatpost, 26.6mm, also silver colored.

Will consider any other cycle related stuff you want to trade.

I have a Jannd rear rack...I think it is second in their line-up

this one

And a Velo Plush off the CrossCheck in the picture as well as many, many mtb tires that are virtually brand new. Will trade really for just about anything of equal value. Really interested in an mtb crankset and derailleurs front and rear that would be compatible with my bike
Rack gone

I'm looking to unload my beloved Big Agnes gear due to an injury:

Big Agnes Crystal 30 degree down / primaloft hybrid sleeping bag LONG. This one was used for a total of 3 nights, it's like new.

Big Agnes Yampa Ultralite 40 degree down bag LONG. This one was used for about 15 nights, and in used but great shape.

I just finished washing both with McNett's Revivex down wash, and the loft is as clean and fluffy as new.

Also up are TWO Big Agnes Insulated Air Core sleeping pad mattresses. These are both in long size and in perfect condition, but I have only one stuff sack.

Send me a PM.

I have a 2006 Titus Motolite

that I will trade for a Brompton, Bike Friday, or Dahon......or maybe a Rivendell (touring capable bikes). The Motolite has a Fox Talas fork, Avid Juicy 5 brakes, Spinergy wheels, and upgraded dockpit (Thomson stem and seatpost, Answer Carbon Fiber riser bars with Ergon Grips (they aren't in the pics but are on the bike.....This is it....I have ridden it but found that I liked my IndyFab a bit better on the trails.....

It seems as though the touring bug has hit me in a hard way. I already have an IndyFab 29er SS and a Speci Endro for mtb'ing as well as a Crosscheck for riding....I just want a good, different touring bike. As for sizing of the bike, I am 5'11" with a 30 inch inseam and it fits me perfectly...if anyone is interested, pm me

HAVE:

- Selcoff Team 27.0 x 220 mm seatpost, silver. Very nice post in an unusual size that is hard to find. I bought it for a frame that I thought required a 27.0 post but it turned out to need a standard 27.2, so I haven't used it.

- Profile H2O threaded (quill) stem, 90 degree x 110 cm, black. Only used a few times. Removeable face-cap and longer quill than most stems, allowing a lot of rise for handlebars.

WANT:
- Nitto rear rack, R-15, Campee or "big rack" models.
- Nitto Deluxe stem, 10 cm.
- Nitto handlebars, Noodle or B-177 or B-176 models, 44-46 cm wide.
- Touring wheels, 700c x 130 mm spacing, silver. To fit Shimano 9-speed cassette.
- Decent quality SPD pedals.
- Good quality, lightweight breathable rain jacket in mens L or XL (43 chest)
