BTW, Trombone Al ... great shot!

This is one of my favorite photos from the HooDoo 500. We caught him cycling up the Cedar Breaks climb. The climb starts off with a healthy 12-13% grade for a mile, and goes up from there. I chatted briefly with him before he went on ... he does the climb every day on his handcycle. Yea, baby.

Is it me or is the pavement pretty wavy??? Is that in Ca? Sorta reminds me of New Mexico......

At the summit of Mount Piņos. At 8,847 feet, (2,697 m), it was nice to be above the pollution. Such a beautiful day!

You should have been there in '79 when one got up in the pond between buildings at the cashiers office. I waled right past it and didn't even realize that it was a gator, and not a baby either. The girls screaming shook me awake finally, the UWF Campus Police got a gator wrangler to take it out to the bayou where you saw yours. Fun times.

My kids and I went bike camping a couple weeks back. My daughter took this photo as I was riding out of the Snoqualmie tunnel. The tunnel is 2.3 miles long and is part of the Iron horse Trail.

2.3 miles long, that would be awesome to ride through. My 2 tunnels on the local trail are only half a mile long each. The 2nd tunnel is curved though, so it's pitch black when you get into the middle. The first tunnel has a curve right at the entrance so on the way back, you can't see anything ahead until you're nearly at the end.

A tunnel that long would be a blast to go through. Is it dark or lighted?
