2015 50+ Annual Ride May 17, 2015 Santa Fe Century?
Years ago I did the Santa Fe Century and the next year my wife and I did one of the shorter rides. IMHO, it is a neat and inexpensive Century, one where later - in 200(?) - Shifty below claims 2005 - Nora and I and a bunch of BFN'rs met for dinner the night before. My wife and I are thinking about the 20 mile ride, which, at 77yo, likely will be the max she will be able to do.
Here are some really old pictures.
SANTA FE CENTURY, 2000
If you have never been to Santa Fe, it is a great visitors town.
Santa Fe Century bike ride
Anyway, if interested, plan ahead!!
(Santa Fe is at 7,000 feet. The area around Santa Fe - Taos, etc., is quite scenic (ask Terex). However, the SFC goes east into the plains, not the mountains, and is also scenic).

September 7th this year on a Sunday.
Enchanted Circle Century Tour, Enchanted Circle Bike Ride - About the Ride
Reason I thought about it was Denver mentioned Santa Fe which is in the same neighborhood. I never rode it myself but a lot of the guys from Amarillo Texas used to go up there in the '80s to get some climbing time in.
Actually some of them did well in it after descending into Palo Duro Canyon, close to Amarillo, daily and climbing back out. But there's lots more climbing than that in this one I've heard.
I've also heard it's a good scenic one and I have spent time in Taos so I imagine it is.
