She still rides and she bought a bike from my old shop. Unfortunately it was my day off when she came in and then her handlers didn't want her coming back in because she was around so many people and is quite friendly so they were trying to "protect" her. A couple of our staff members did get to help her out at the house though.

I'm a fan but she should have made sure they gave her a complete bike, even if she couldn't ride it with that pant suit, no cables or levers.

Lot's of those early auto company founders were avid cyclist. John and Horace Dodge patent was for a ball bearing bottom bracket. They first worked for Henry Ford, whom also was into local club cycling.
