Which is a better bike of the two?

I realize that an important factor is how it fits, but assuming the both fit well, what would be a better buy?

1 - Asking price is $950

Color Black Pearl
Frame Schwinn Super Butted 'N'Litened' Platinum label smooth welded aluminum with Reflex carbon fiber seat stays, chainstays, Race geometry, IS standard integrated head tube, forged dropouts w/ replaceable hanger, and 2x H2O bottle boss

Fork Schwinn Reflex CF-1 carbon fiber blades w/ 1 1/8" carbon fiber steerer & forged dropouts
Crankset Tru-Vativ Carbon Rouleur w/ Giga X-Drive external bearing integrated bottom bracket. 50-36 compact drive
Bottom Bracket Tru-Vativ Giga X-Drive w/ external bearings
Front Derailleur Shimano New Ultegra 10sp 34.9 dia.
Rear Derailleur Shimano New Ultegra 10sp
Shifters Shimano New Ultegra STI 10sp
Freewheel Shimano New Ultegra 10-sp 11-23
Chain Shimano Ultegra 10-speed
Rims Gipiemme Rolf Patent complete wheelset
Tires Continental Force/Attack Combo, 22f, 23r, all black
Front Hub Gipiemme Rolf Patent complete wheelset
Rear Hub Gipiemme Rolf Patent complete wheelset
Spokes Gipiemme Rolf Patent complete wheelset
Nipples Gipiemme Rolf Patent complete wheelset
Front Brake Shimano New Ultegra
Rear Brake Shimano New Ultegra
Brake Levers Shimano New Ultegra STI 10sp
Handlebar TruVativ Rouleur Alu, 44cm
Stem TruVativ Rouleur Team Alu, 120mm
Grips Deda, cork, black
Headset Cane Creek IS-2 integrated cartridge bearing Aheadset
Saddle Selle Italia
Seat Post TruVativ Team, black, 350mm, 31.6mm
Seat Clamp Schwinn forged / CNC w/ Cr-Mo Allen bolt
Frame Size M 19.7"

The Schwinn offers a better value for money than a Cannondale or Specialized. It has great components and a very light frame.

Most of the time the bike was sitting in the storage and it was barely used. Never crashed the bike, like new condition.

2 - Asking Price is $900

2004 Specialized Allez Comp road bike - 56 cm
Brand new condition - rarely used and well kept -> inside, clean, warm, and dry.
Great triathlon bike!

* Columbus SLX smooth-welded alloy frame with replaceable derailleur hanger.
* Shimano Ultegra 18-speed complete group.
* Shimano lightweight R-540 high performance wheel set.
* Specialized Pro oversized 7075 stem and handlebars.
* Specialized Body Geometry Pro leather saddle.
** Bonus - Specialized All Condition Armadillo tires ($90 value) included along with original Pro Cipollini tires.

Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance,

Frank

Going with the fit is always a good choice.

Also go with the one you just like the most. After all you will be the one riding it.

Thanks for your responses so far. To clarify, I was wondering which of the bikes has better components. I ask because I am about to invest in a first better than average bike, and I don't know anything about what parts/components/bike are better quality.

the first one seems like a better deal, however we recommend the one which fits you better because no matter how good the bike is, if it doesn't fit you, you'll have a hard time riding it.
