Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Any thoughts on it? I've been pretty amped on the trailer for quite some time, anyone have any idea when it comes out or have any feelings regarding it?

Going fast. Watching the barspin stuff is like watching '80s freestyle skateboarding.

I like the part in the macaframa trailer where the lady with her dog goes running out of the way. It's comedic.

I hadnt seen the trailer in a while and re watched it a bit ago, I would agree I think. It appears to have a nice mix of dudes hauling ass and cool tricks and such. Though, I might be counting the chickens before they hatch.

I can't decide if all these fixed gear tricks are cool, or just stupid. I mean, I guess it is a 'sport' in its infancy, so maybe it's not fair to compare it to other sports, such as...skateboarding, mountain biking, bmx, snowboarding etc, since when you do so, I think it makes it look pretty lame. I mean, bar spins...?
