Greetings to all from Malaysia!
Hello to all in the forum. I'm William Soon from Malaysia;42y/o guy. Just joined the forum today and thought it would be proper to introduce myself and my ride to the good folks here.
I have a 1950s' Gazelle roadster 28"wheel 22"gents frame(made by Raleigh,Nottingham; not the Dutch version). I acquired the bike back in late 1990;used it thro' my schooldays till 1995. But somehow motorbike and cars came along, and the old boy was just kept in storage.I have plans to restore it but were kept in the backburner all these years. Long story short,I have recently started to restore it,but I am still looking for the correct parts to put back in (it was dismantled years back by a local bike shop but they never came about to finish the restoration job,and some parts got lost along the way),rather than generic Chinese parts. I would rather NOT tell anyone how many years the bike spent languishing at the shop.....
Anyway,Hello, here I am now. Will be posting about the parts I need on the appropriate forum soon. Thank you all very much,my apologies for my rather long-winded intro. All the best to you all and GOD BLESS.😀😀😀
Sincerely,
W.L.SOON,Malaysia
