Other than a classy rider...
For me...
Firstly... anything Italian is classy...
Pinnys, Colnagos, Campy sets, Bianchis... All that...
Secondly... a smooth frame with a minimalist paint scheme...
All this is making me want a classy bike now... ARGH!!!
Your ideas?

Classy is a bike that is subtle yet powerful.. Elegant yet Strong.. Not loud yet a head turner.. Its all about bucking the trend... being a non-confirmist..

There are so many variables... It's hard to define classiness in terms of a formula.

But I wanted to know what "you" [individually] consider for the making of a classy bike..

Gotta be steel (lugged) with (non-carbon) Campy. Nitto drops, Stella Azzura Eleganza tape, Brooks Swift in honey, high-flange hubs. I actually prefer the old school non-aero brakes and DT shifters (I'm weird, I'll admit it).

Once you figure out the difference between quality and features, classyness speaks for itself.

Hey, that Pinarello Dogma - what kind of saddle is that? The Pinarello website lists it as M.O.ST Cougar ... anyone know of this brand? I gather it may be a Pinarello house brand (much like Bontrager to Trek?) ... ?

a very classy Merckx AXM. I'm a sucker for exposed carbon. Plus, the MERCKX MERCKX MERCKX handlebar wrap is fun.. I wonder where they get it custom printed? Wouldn't it be neat to have BIKEFORUM BIKEFORUM BIKEFORUM BIKEFORUM grey bar tape?
